 Christ's Hope USA is a mobilization nation of Christ's Hope International, which is an organization that is working towards an AIDS free world by bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. This includes people in danger of contracting HIV, those suffering from AIDS, their care-givers, and at-risk children whose parents have died due to AIDS. Christ's Hope International is a non-denominational, African-based ministry with international headquarters in Namibia. Christ's Hope International was founded in early 2002, and has many active ministry nations in central and southern Africa, mobilization nations in Europe and North America, and pioneering efforts are currently underway in several other nations. Christ's Hope's three primary ministry areas are Prevention, Nurturing, and Care and Compassion. Christ's Hope has a practical, effective, Christ-centered approach to the fight against AIDS. The Prevention aspect of the ministry is accomplished through prayer, education in biblical truths, and mass media campaigns; Christ's Hope proclaims the truth about Jesus Christ and His plan for our lives and lifestyle. Nurturing involves caring for orphans and vulnerable children through children's homes, youth clubs, and Bible studies; Christ's Hope encourages and invests in today's youth. Christ's Hope also extends the love of Christ through its Care and Compassion ministry to AIDS patients and their families by sharing food and medical care in the home, assisting with funerals, and taking care of other practical and spiritual needs. Getting Involved
There are several ways in which you can give a little of your time, talents, or treasure and make an impact in the fight against AIDS around the world. By volunteering, either as an individual or as part of a short-term missions team, you can be actively involved with Christ's Hope as we work towards an AIDS free world. By giving a financial gift you can directly support Christ's Hope's ministries; 90% of all gifts given go directly to the ministry you specify, be it for the construction or operation of a children's home, funds to print 'Choose to Wait' booklets in one of several languages, assistance for administrative necessities, sponsorship of a specific missionary/staff member, or one of many other ministry needs. Perhaps most important of all, you can join with us in prayer as we thank the Lord, and call on Him in our time of need; Christ's Hope publishes a monthly 'Prayer and Praise' list through email and joins together on the first Monday of every month for a day of prayer and fasting.
